The Centers for Diseases Control and Prevention (CDC) seeks exceptional candidates for the position of Director, Division of STD Prevention (DSTDP), National Center for HIV/AIDS, Viral Hepatitis, STD, and TB Prevention (NCHHSTP). As a leader at CDC, the Division Director will play a key role to bring together the best tools and science for sexually transmitted disease (STD) prevention, treatment, research, policy, and surveillance. The Division Director will oversee the implementation and evaluation of CDC-supported STD prevention programs in the United States.

Required Qualifications

  • MD, PhD, DO or equivalent doctoral degree
  • Expertise in the field of STDs or other related public health programs
  • Extensive, proven experience leading a large public health program, department or organization
