The National STD Curriculum is a free educational resource developed by the University of Washington Infectious Diseases Education & Assessment (IDEA) Program as part of the National Network of STD Prevention Training Centers (NNPTC) and is funded by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
The new National STD Curriculum 3rd Edition addresses the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of STDs and STIs via nine lessons, 28 Question Bank topics with 200+ interactive case-based questions, and a podcast. Registered learners can earn up to 30 free CME/CNE/CE, 12 pharmacology CE for APNs, or Certificates of Completion if CE isn’t needed.
The National Network of STD Clinical Prevention Training Centers
The National STD Curriculum is part of the National Network of STD Clinical Prevention Training Centers (NNPTC), a CDC-funded group of regional and national STD training centers created in partnership with health departments and universities.
The NNPTC is dedicated to increasing the knowledge and skills of health professionals by providing a spectrum of state-of-the-art trainings for STD prevention and treatment with a particular focus on experiential learning.
